root redirection in OWF tomcat

I would like to redirect / to /owf, i.e https://myowfserver.domain.com to https://myowfserver.domain.com/owf/.

The usual way in Tomcat is to create a webapps/ROOT directory and create an index.jsp file containing the redirection. Unfortunately this fails. Probably due to context control.

Is there any way to accomplish this?

Never mind! Tomcat is being fronted by Apache on our servers.
