Error downloading from github.com

Hi,

I'm running on a CentOS 6.8 box and trying to run "vagrant up".  It fails due to errors trying to download from github.com.   I've checked that I'm not behind a proxy, disabled my firewall, and configured git to use "https://" instead of "git:" and "https://github.com/" instead of "g...@github.com"; it is still failing due to git issues.  Does anyone know how to resolve this?
