OZP is happy to announce the official release of the Ozone Platform
This deployment removes all dependencies on Java and/or the JVM. The main objective for this deployment was to reduce technical debt and prepare OZP for future features such as private applications and tailored views. A few additional technical benefits to highlight include:
· All deployments of OZP will have a fully document RESTful compliant API
o OZP deployments have dynamic swagger API documentation included
· Reduction of Architecture and deployment complexity
o Deployment script using ansibile and vagrant allow DevOps engineers to run single click deployments of OZP to a single machine or multiple VM architecture behind a load balancer https://github.com/ozone-development/ozp-ansible
· Removal of legacy OWF/OMP technical debt
o OZP no longer uses or depends on any code from the legacy OWF/OMP baseline
o Increased performance and simplified code maintenance enable rapid development and deployments
