As part of the Noongar Native Title agreement, the Land, Approvals and Native Title Unit, Dept Premier and Cabinet, WA Govt, has been developing a range of guidelines, templates and heritage agreements for each of the combined Noongar areas.

According to their website  https://www.dpc.wa.gov.au/lantu/south-west-native-title-settlement/Noongar-Standard-Heritage-Agreement/Pages/default.aspx

COMING SOON -

•Service Provider Agreement – Template – sets out the contractual obligations of the Aboriginal Heritage Service Provider when conducting an Aboriginal Heritage Survey under the NSHA. The template will mirror relevant NSHA obligations to ensure outcomes are consistent with the requirements detailed in the NSHA. Aboriginal Heritage Service Providers are usually a company or person(s) who are appropriately qualified in a discipline directly relevant to the management of Aboriginal cultural heritage such as anthropology, archaeology, history or a related discipline.

So, my question is –

Who, if anyone, has been consulted from the disciplines listed about the contractual obligations of the Aboriginal Heritage Service Provider when conducting an Aboriginal Heritage Survey under the NSHA?

Cheers
