NZ and Australia Archaeological Conference 2018

AAA is excited to announce initial details and important dates for the 2018 AAA Annual Conference!

This year the conference will be a jointly organised conference with the New Zealand Archaeological Association (NZAA) to be held at the University of Auckland, in Auckland, New Zealand 28 November – 1 December, with pre conference workshops and post conference trips to be announced.

The AAA Annual Conference is THE annual event for archaeologists; where our members and non-members, get together, present papers and posters and communicate the latest archaeological discoveries. AAA has about 600 members and the Annual Conference typically attracts about 400 to 500 delegates from Australia and overseas.

We are currently working hard on getting some affordable registration, accommodation and travel deals for members, and will announce details soon.  Sponsorship packages are also being developed with the goal of acknowledging the important role that sponsors provide and maximising their visibility.
