Looking at Sibelia Court's website, blog and examples of her work, I suspect her aesthetic motivations for the faux heritage nostalgia olde-time retro look, might be informing the style of the show. But I would hope the house builders themselves are kept in line by council planning officers and heritage professionals. Perhaps the Heritage Victoria and NSW Heritage office compliance staff could watch the program.
