fuse-ext2 Install issues

I was wondering if there has been a good workaround to allow fuse-ext to install in El Captian. I know there is an issue with SIP but I'm not convinced that I want to blanket disable it. It seems if some of the other filesystems have been able to fix their installers. Could the same be done for ext2/3/4? Thanks.
