How to execute a command on a mounted SSH share?

hello

in my company, i can ssh to an OracleLinux box. 

then, in a terminal, i must execute gsmd-- that allows me to see and browse a set of directories which are not immediately visible when first connected. 

not sure what gsmd does yet. 

Question: is there a way to execute a remote command in the context of a mounted ssh share, either as part of the initial sshfs command, or subsequently?
