Im always so annoyed that connecting to my Dropbox and Google Drive acounts is so easy on my Android devices: install Total Commander, install Drive & Totalbox addons and voila! I now have total, easy access to them.

I have tried to get this on my MacBook running latest Sierra. I had kinda given up the idea untill I found OsXFuse and GDriveFS. I have OsXFuse and GDriveFS installed correctly (I think). But how do I get GDriveFS to work? How do I start it?

The instructions fits with Linux but not very good with OsX. Atleast from what I understand :)

Thanks in advance

Try WingFS. It works under macOS and it can mount Google Drive, Dropbox, and many other cloud services.

I had a similar problem.
I wanted to access an folder via SSH and could not find the instruction how to mount a folder via SSH.

The solution in my case was documented under https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/FUSE/sshfs/ which worked also - as far as I used it - under MacOS Sierra High.

It is always amazing those developers spend months of work creating such great programs like Fuse but then they are not able to document the most trivial questions a newbies have.

There’s a wiki page that has an example of how to connect, do you mind suggesting what is missing?

It’s a bit dated and suggests you to use MacFusion but there is also a stand alone example. I’d invite you to help update the documentation to make it better for the next person :)

Look forward to seeing your contribution!

I saw this documentation and was totally confused.
It still contains a chapter "Macfusion" which is referring to a outdated program. Therefore I stopped further reading.

Basically the user only has to install both apps on https://osxfuse.github.io, create a folder and execute on command  sshfs username@server:/path on server/ ~/path to mount.

Why this is missing in the documentation is not clear for me.
