Keeping OSXFUSE mount in Favorites

I use OSXFUSE to mount a directory on a remote SSH server to that I develop on. When I open on computer at the start of the day, I run the sshfs command and then drag the mounted drive to my Favorites section in the Finder. Is there any way to keep a shortcut to this mount in the Favorites section even when it isn't mounted? It's kind of annoying to have to do this every day.
