Unable to access Ossec directory.

My Ossec server has been running for several months and early last week I start to get this “Unable to access Ossec directory” in the WebUI.

Within the OSSEC Web-UI files, vi ossec_conf.php

You should see $ossec_dir=" ";

Put the correct directory location to OSSEC between the quotation marks. 

For example:

$ossec_dir="/opt/ossec/";

is there any information pertinent to the Web-UI going down in ossec.logs?

Have you tried re-installing OSSEC-WebUI?

If your Ossec server has been running . I think you should view the error_log file to get more info.
