Using ORMLite with Google Cloud SQL?

How easy would it be to connect to Google Cloud SQL https://developers.google.com/cloud-sql/ with ORM Lite? Reading the documentation it seems to be mySQL in the cloud, the main difference is that its got its own JDBC driver and the connect URL is different. It would be extremely appealing to be able to use OrmLite for everything from Android, through JSE,J2EE to Google App Engine.
