OrientDB - Using the value of a type in another record

After I create a record, I would like to use the value from one of the Types

in that record in another record - that is have it automatically populate a

type in the second record.


Please advise how to perform this operation.

You should check out OrientDb Hooks (http://orientdb.com/docs/2.1/Hook.html) which function like triggers in traditional databases.
