runInstaller causing core dump

Hi,

I have installed 9.2.0.1.0 on a Sun Solaris 9 box
(SunOS adclick-winn.server.virgin.net 5.9 Generic_118558-11 sun4u
sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V240);

I'm trying to patch the oracle version, so I've got
p4163445_92070_SOLARIS.zip which I've used on other servers without
issues...

however on this server everytime I start runInstaller I get

> ./runInstaller

ERROR: Unable to convert from "UTF-8" to "646" for NLS!
Bus Error - core dumped

I've been told that server is update with patches.

Any advice and pointers would greatly appericated.

Check the oracle's documentation to confirm that you meet all the
preinstallation requirements:
