Hi All,

The openxc hardware is not getting detected on my computer but previously it was getting detected and i also flashed firmware too. Is this a software issue or a board problem. Attached is an image when i removed the top part of the openxc. Any  guide would be appreciated!

Thanks and Regards,
Chandra Mohan

Hi All,

The USB was working fine because when i connect the computer the device shows up in command "lsusb" in ubuntu machine.
Later i tried the below options
1.When I long press the programming button , the device is not entering the programming state ,(no changes in LED1 and LED4 colour, nor the firmware folder pops out)
2. I thought it was the switch issue but  tested the switch with multimeter , the switch it works fine.

Any idea to debug the same or how we could reset the entire board. (The Reset switch just reboots, any other ways)

Solution:
1. Long press the programming button for 5 seconds.
2. Press the reset  button without releasing the programming button.
3.Release the programming button.

The hardware enters programming state.

Hmm, the only time I've seen it not enter programming mode is if the button is broken. Since you've tested that (and it seems like the button is working based on what you described below) that doesn't seem correct. My only other thought, and it's a long shot, is that you could try re-flashing the bootloader. Since you have a workaround, that may be more trouble than it's worth.

Eric
