Openxc-control version issue

Hello all,

I just got a new Ford Reference VI and setup it up as per http://openxcplatform.com/getting-started/index.html . I'm using an emulator firmware.

But when I run openxc-control version is get the error:

usb.core.USBError: [Errno None] libusb0-dll:err [control_msg] sending control message failed, win error: A device attached to the system is not functioning.

However, running openxc-dump and openxc-dashboard works fine.

I think you are talking about this issue - https://github.com/openxc/openxc-python/issues/89

It's a new behavior that is seen.

Hello Kanishka,

Thank you for your reply. 

I'm not sure if this is a timeout error. Also the Errno reported in my case is None as mentioned in the above post.
