Hi all,
My understanding all along is that the BLE device is only compatible with Android. iOS support to arrive soon.

However, this link says that BLE OS is iOS and does not mention Android. http://openxcplatform.com/vehicle-interface/hardware.html#comparison-table

This may be just a typo, but given how I can't get the enabler android app to work with my device on emulator data, I figured I would double check compatibility with the group and confirm.

Thanks,

ZK

Hi ZK,

BT devices are compatible with Android. BLE are compatible with iOS. iOS release is already out now - https://github.com/openxc/openxc-ios-framework

The CrossChasm C5 BLE will work with iOS devices. Other VIs will work with Android.

BLE support on Android is yet to come. You may try Ford Reference VI to work with Android till then.

Thanks,
Kanishka

Hi Geo,

No, there is nothing available for BLE on Android Enabler yet.

If you're open to Xamarin, there is a basic app that has been developed. See https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/openxc/uzgJ3YVJQuA

Regards,
Eric
