Any new people learned about this project and successfully compiled and build this?

Trying to build this on OSX Maverick, building it for GALAXY S4 w no sim card.

Android studio, tried copying the files into appropriate places within android studio file structure and don't think it's the right approach.

If you don't have any plans to modify the OpenXC source code then there's a file {workspace}/openxc/bin/openxc.jar that you can import into your project as a library dependency. After doing that, you should be able to use all of it's functionality without any problem.
