The subject pretty much says it... Is there a way to delete an entire metric?  For example, I know I can use scan --delete, and that works well.  However, even if I completely remove the data for a metric, it still appears in the metric listing(api/suggest?type=metrics&max=<big_number>).  Is this possible?  No big deal, but as we expire data it would be nice not to have to worry about assessing metrics that are empty anyway, and they'll be automatically created again if we decide to use them for some reason.  Thanks.

Unfortunately we don't have a good way to do that now. We're trying to incorporate meta data better in 3.0 so that problem should be improved.
