opentsdb returns empty datapoints: is it fixed in 2.3.0?

Hi,

I was sending an /api/query to opentsdb, and it returned some empty datapoints like 

[{u'metric': u'incoming.bytes', u'dps': {}, u'tags': {u'datacenter': u'hb'}}]

Note the 'dps: {}' part.

My opentsdb is version 2.2.0. I noticed it was an known bug about 1 years ago: https://github.com/OpenTSDB/opentsdb/issues/672. Is it already fixed in the newly released 2.3.0?

Hi, sorry for the long wait on this one. The behavior remains the same in 2.3 so I'll try to get it in 2.4 (or if you have time, we'd love a PR!)
