If you can wait a week or so, the next release of otm-core will have a set of management pages including a bulk importer for species and trees with a CSV template and instructions for each.

Hi,I want to add a list of tree species found in India. We have setup OTM-CORE server and already created a instance in it.Now we have to add these listed tree species in to data base so that it will be available to the users.I checked the thread in this group and found a thread for OTM1 / OTM-Legacy which has the commands for importing form python manage.py level.I have few questions,
- How can we import this species list [procedure to import] for otm-core?
- What format is required (i.e. csv or any other) which can be used for importing the list?
- Also what should be sequence of the data items in this import file?
Thanks...Regards..Ulhas Shah
