Hi, I am building my first app for the iPhone and was hoping someone could give me advice for connecting the Football dat to my app.

Hello,
I'm not an iOS App expert. As far as I know the iOS ships/includes
an SQLite database. Thus, I'd recommend using the SQLite database for
storing and getting your football data.
The football.db by default uses an SQLite database, for example. Cheers.
