I've started an all-in-one-page calendar [1] collecting football
tournaments from around the world. The first entries include:

PS: Note, the page source is a format (e.g. Markdown) that can (and
will) get auto-processed turning the "free-style" text into (open)
structured data using a parser e.g. EventReader.rb, for example [2].

I think this is a very nice idea, Gerald.

The first that strike me as missing are:

1. Asian Cup, African Cup of Nations, OFC Nations Cup

2. Youth international tournaments

I've found this Wikipedia page to be a good resource for upcoming tournaments:
