Hello,

I am looking into creating a 2014 World Cup application which will display: fixtures, teams and players.

I have looked into:

However, I have no idea where to start really; I have downloaded the database but as my application is going to be for BlackBerry 10 mobile devices: I need to access the data in JSON rather than a database. So, my question is: how do I use either the database to display fixtures, teams and players in JSON format or how can I use the txt files to display the data?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Hello,

Thanks for your interest in football.db.   What (programming) language are you trying to use?

To host your own HTTP JSON API service, see the sport.db.api.starter kit [1].
The basic API is documented in the api repo [2].
If you're using JavaScript, see the football.js example [3].

That's all what's available for now. You're welcome to post your questions as you go along (no guarentee for an answer - maybe someelse can help out or assist).  Good luck. Cheers.
