Many 3LO Calls Unavailable this week

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know, we are aware that many 3LO API calls are returning "403 - permission denied" and other similar errors. We have already fixed the problem but it will take a week for the fix to reach production. Therefore, some calls in the 3LO API won't work this week, particularly those that have to do with listing friends, sending scraps, etc.

Our guess is that the situation should be normalized by Thursday next week.

Bruno, I truly understand that this is something unexpected, but this also really frustrating (and I might say unacceptable) as many applications out there stopped working since last Thursday. Google is asking a week to rollout a production code that might not solve the issue.

I've been receiving more than 200 emails A DAY since last Thursday complaining that our app isn't working anymore. Although it's not an issue on our end, users don't care about it and just blame us.

I really hope a solution come up before Thursday.

please guys, do something earlier, one full week with the apis off is
just bad for business
and specially bad for Orkut

Orkut cant let things like this to happens
Facebook is coming fast, lets battle them together.

but when things like this happens, it just helps me to go hopeless
about investing on Orkut...
cmon guys, fix it earlier.

We've just pushed a new sandbox with a fix. We expect the fix to reach prod on Thursday.

So if you try the calls against sandbox, they should work now (hopefully).

Switched endpoint and scope on my test app - http://www.dxs.com.br/os-leg/test and all the calls which were failing now are ok. 

Just one thing that I noticed is related to captcha. Tried all combinations which used to result in a captcha challenge, and nothing happens - messages are just being sent. Anything changed ?

Guys,

I have an app on Orkut called "Oi Indica" that this is not working
since Thursday (03-10-11) evening, that is, not really bring your
friends list, photo albums and scrapbook does not.

Bruno Oliveira said yesterday it would run the problem, but so far
nothing.

Someone who has an app with the same problems, went back to work?

waiting a answer of Google...

Yesterday night, orkut started answering some requests successfully in
prod. Today I've tested and everything seems to be normalized - no
error so far.
