I wish I could tell you that the iPhone Omer Counter update was live,
but alas, it appears that it will only be live after the holiday. In
the meantime, get the app, or if you have a Droid phone, go to
neohasid and get the app.

Below is a piyut for the seventh night of Pesach, celebrating the
crossing of the sea. It is also sung for a brit milah ceremony, and it
has three verses I've left out which apply specifically to that
context. (The translation below is a first draft.) You can go to
piyut.org.il to hear it sung in with dozen different melodies, both
Sefardi/Mizrachi and Chasidic.

For Tuesday, mashiach seudah, here are two texts that can connect
Earth Day and the Messianic era:

> R’ Abba taught: There is no greater revelation of redemption than that which the verse states: “And you, mountains of Israel, you shall give forth your branches and you shall bear your fruit for my people Israel, for they shall soon come.” (Ez. 36:8)  Talmud Sanhedrin 98a

> "No eye has seen, Elohim, beside You, who acts for the one who waits" (Is 64:3) (i.e., who waits for the Messiah). What is "no eye has seen"? Said R' Y'hoshu`a ben Levi: This is the wine that is being guarded with its grapes from the six days of Creation. Resh Lakish said: This is Eden, which no eye has seen. And if you would say: where did Adam live -- in the garden, and if you would say: the garden is Eden...studying (the Torah) would say (to you): A river went out from Eden to water the garden. Talmud Sanhedrin 99a

> Redemption is shown to us by the Earth herself, in the mountains and the trees. And in redemption, we will taste the sweet juice of the beginning of Creation, the fullness of the promise, coming to fruition.

translation I worked on this year, you can go to:

A day when into dry land were turned the reeds,
a new song offering praise by the redeemed

A day when You were glorified by the enemy and unto me you became
cherished, and for You, You founded strength, by the mouth of babes

You drowned in illusion the feet of daughter Anamit (Egypt),
and the steps of Shulamit (Israel) were made beautiful in sandals

And all who saw me making song (yeshirun), in my time of majesty, sang out:
None is like the God of Yeshurun, and our enemies were judged

My banners thus raised up over those remaining,
and You gathered (t’laqet) the scatters like one gleaning (m’laqet) sheaves

And return again to make her holy, and no longer expel her,
and raise up the light of her joy, that the shadows may flee

Your beloveds raise You high with song before You:
Who is like You, Adomai, among Gods?
