Hello all,
The least that open source typographers and digital font foundries ask for is correct attribution of their work. So, I've been working on improving our index of fonts distributed in our font pack.
You can now see an alpha-numerically sortable list of the fonts and the open source licenses they're share with, the font typographers and the foundries they're associated with. The font names also link to illustrations of the font characters. (I've set these in the form of medieval type blocks.)
A document showing all of the fonts rendered next to one another remains available for download.
In the future, we would like to add to this index an accessibility grade indicating how readable this font is for readers with dyslexia. If you can help us create this page (or know someone who would be), please be in touch.
The Open Siddur Project is committed to helping share open source tools and open content licensed text and art useful for crafting new prayerbooks, haggadot, and other liturgical and liturgy-related Jewish texts.
