How to configure the ESCM file

Hi everyone

I want to configure the ESCM file to do some HMI job.

At first, I configure the ESIM file to connect to Modbus simulator like below:

Then, the ESCM file is configured as following:

but unfortunately, in the ostc, I cannot see the changing value from master server.

Is there anything wrong with the ESCM configuration?

In general it looks good. But I think the problem is in the "Source Name" of the External Value. I think it must be called modbus.data.S1.B1.V1 (instead of S1.B1.V1 only)

"modbus.data.S1.B1.V1 " is the right "Source Name"!
