lua-nginx-module compatibility with Nginx 1.11.8

Hello,

As per the release note, the latest lua-nginx-module is compatible with 1.11.x (last tested version being 1.11.2).

Any idea when the lua-nginx-module will be officially tested against Nginx 1.11.8 release?

Is there a release schedule for the Nginx LUA module, and how do we know which version of Nginx it will be tested against ahead of time?
