Modifying the cell reconciliation candidates view?

Hello,

We have a reconciliation service that works with OpenRefine. In cases where there are multiple reconciliation candidates, we would like to make it possible for the user to create a new "umbrella" entity encompassing these candidates. We already have an API to do this, so all that we need is to add a button or link to the cell reconciliation candidates view, that when clicked would call our API, generate the new entity, and insert the identifier of the new entity as the match for the cell.

Is it possible to modify the cell reconciliation candidates view via an extension? Or is there some other way of achieving this?
