Is there a way to save functions in openrefine?
Some cleansing projects typically have some overlap in use of functions, so would be handy to save them for re-use.
Saving them in a list in excel etc. is a possibility, but is there a way to do it in refine itself? or with some plugin/hack?

GREL Expressions are stored in a history.  When you open a GREL Expression dialog such as with EDIT COLUMN -> Add a new column.... there are tabs in the dialog such as history, help, etc.

You may also want to look at the VIB-BITS extension which adds some extra functionality for working with the Undo/Redo History and for applying functions across projects. See section 3.1 in their documentation for details of what the extension supports:

Dries,

On the top of recommendation by Thad and Owen, and taking it from a different angles:
All the GREL expression is saved in  the History tab in the GREL expression section. You can star to save you favourite expression to quickly access them via the Starred tab. See this screenshot

Hope this help.

Thank you all!

Never noticed the history & starred tab.
I'll look into the  VIB-BITS plugin as well.
