Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how a removal of a stop is seen on an xml file?

for example, the original file would have the schedules as below:

<uR updateOrigin="Tyrell">
<schedule rid="201507270016110" uid="P03526" trainId="2O53" ssd="2015-08-10" toc="GW">
<sc:OR tpl="RDNG4AB" act="TB" ptd="21:34" wtd="21:34" />
<sc:PP tpl="RDNGSJN" wtp="21:36" />
<sc:PP tpl="ERLY" wtp="21:38" />
<sc:IP tpl="WOKNGHM" act="T" pta="21:42" ptd="21:43" wta="21:42" wtd="21:43" />
<sc:IP tpl="CRWTHRN" act="T" pta="21:48" ptd="21:48" wta="21:47" wtd="21:48" />
<sc:IP tpl="SNDHRST" act="T" pta="21:51" ptd="21:52" wta="21:51" wtd="21:52" />
<sc:IP tpl="BCKWATR" act="T" pta="21:55" ptd="21:55" wta="21:54" wtd="21:55" />
<sc:IP tpl="FRBRNTH" act="T" pta="21:59" ptd="22:00" wta="21:59" wtd="22:00" />
<sc:IP tpl="NTHCAMP" act="T" pta="22:03" ptd="22:04" wta="22:03" wtd="22:04" />

<sc:PP tpl="EARLSWD" wtp="22:54" />
<sc:DT tpl="GTWK" act="TF" pta="23:04" wta="23:02" />
</schedule>
</uR>

If an update was to be received with a removal of a stop would it look like this, the point being removed completely?

<uR updateOrigin="Tyrell">
<schedule rid="201507270016110" uid="P03526" trainId="2O53" ssd="2015-08-10" toc="GW">
<sc:OR tpl="RDNG4AB" act="TB" ptd="21:34" wtd="21:34" />
<sc:PP tpl="RDNGSJN" wtp="21:36" />
<sc:PP tpl="ERLY" wtp="21:38" />

<sc:IP tpl="CRWTHRN" act="T" pta="21:48" ptd="21:48" wta="21:47" wtd="21:48" />
<sc:IP tpl="SNDHRST" act="T" pta="21:51" ptd="21:52" wta="21:51" wtd="21:52" />
<sc:IP tpl="BCKWATR" act="T" pta="21:55" ptd="21:55" wta="21:54" wtd="21:55" />
<sc:IP tpl="FRBRNTH" act="T" pta="21:59" ptd="22:00" wta="21:59" wtd="22:00" />
<sc:IP tpl="NTHCAMP" act="T" pta="22:03" ptd="22:04" wta="22:03" wtd="22:04" />

<sc:PP tpl="EARLSWD" wtp="22:54" />
<sc:DT tpl="GTWK" act="TF" pta="23:04" wta="23:02" />
</schedule>
</uR>

What I am assuming is it will be removed, as I have done in the example above "<sc:IP tpl="WOKNGHM" act="T" pta="21:42" ptd="21:43" wta="21:42" wtd="21:43" />" from the schedule

Hello

I don't think a timing point will normally be removed - what's your thinking here?

If a stop at a location is cancelled, there will be a 'cancelled' flag.  If the train's re-routed, I think there will still be timing points in for the original route of the train, but those may be cancelled (so you can call up the departure board for the original station and know the train's been cancelled).

Kind regards,

Peter
