Hi,

I though I'd play with stomp.py to get the hang of the feeds (and also stomp CLI  directly) but I'm missing something basic, I think.

Both fail with "No handlers could be found for logger stomp.py". I would have thought, for example, the following would work:

But alas, "no handlers..."

What am I missing?

Cheers, AndyH

Hi Andy

I think the problem might exist within the Python script, "stomp" that you're running.

Are you able to post the output here?  Plus your Python version?

Hi Peter,

Well you were right! After deconstructing a little, I found that authentication on the "stomp" CLI seems to be broken (aka it doesn't matter what you provide for -U and -W). I haven't debugged that one yet.

Having abandoned that and reverting to my own Python code I managed to get a basic subscription to work!

Regards, AndyH
