Afternoon all,

I'm pretty new to developing with the NRE datafeeds, but I'd already like to jump into the services that are a little more interesting than Darwin, specifically the OJP for the fare calculation, but I can't find answers to the following questions on the NRE website or in this forum currently:
  1. Is it possible to give NRE a URL to be whitelisted, instead of an IP address, as I don't know where I'll be hosting the service yet?
  2. What kind of prices am I looking at per request?
Any insight into this and using the OJP in general would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Alex.

Hi Alex

Whitelisting a URL is something that can only be done for outbound connectivity.  Since you'd be connecting in to the OJP service, whitelisting will likely be done on IP address.

You'll need to contact NRE directly to discuss costs I'm afraid - do you have a contact there?

Thanks for this Peter.

Understood, I'll can just host a service with a static IP in Azure.

Currently I just have the infoservices email address - I haven't sent off my application yet. Is there a more efficient route you could recommend?

Cheers,
Alex.

Hi Alex,

Did you find out what sort of prices we are looking at per request?

Cheers,
Fingal
