Stochastic Event-based Risk Analysis - Generating random epicentres

Dear developers and experts,

I already know that OQ determines the magnitude of events using descrete CDF of recurrence ralationship (e.g. Gutenberg Richter). My question is:

- How does OQ select the location of each event? Is it in accordance with the dencity of observed epicentres or it follows a uniform probability distribution?
