Hello OQ Developers,
Although I post some message here before, still I have some problems importing Master from Github into my current version of OQ 2.0.1 that I would appreciate if you help me to figure it out. I read the Manual guide and followed the instruction on “Installing the OpenQuake Engine for development” and succeed to implement the development environment into my current version of OQ, but it doesn’t work and freeze at the first step of the analysis. The new engine and library are placed in a folder named “src” and according to the Manual, it is supposed to run the development environment from that folder which has the new updates. Also, it is important to mention that even after closing the development environment and switch to the previous version, none of my previous codes run at all and I couldn’t use the OQ-engine anymore. Since I really need to use the new update, I would be grateful if you help me to solve my issue.
Also, I should mention that I just upgraded the OQ version 2.1, but I need to know the process of using the development environment in case of new update pops up in future.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Regards,
Vahid
Thank you for the heads up. Since I’m doing my research project in this area, I need to develop some codes by myself and test those in the developer environment. Although I have the experience to work with Github, but installing the development feature in my current version of OQ has been turned to a big issue for me so far. So, I would appreciate if you help me to sort it out.
