Dear OpenQuake Users,

a new dependency has been introduced in the current OpenQuake Engine master branch [1]: pyzmq.

If you have the OpenQuake Engine installed by sources and you are running an updated master you must re-install oq-engine with pip:

$ pip install -e oq-engine/

This operation will automatically download the new 'pyzmq' python package.

If you want to install 'pyzmq' manually you can always run:

$ pip install pyzmq

Users running a stable version (v2.5) are not affected by the change. Users using Linux packages (rpm, deb) don't have to do anything special, the package manager will take care of that.

Best regards,
Daniele
