The OpenOLAT 10.1 release is an iterative evolution of the 10.0 release and contains all 9.0.x to 9.4.x and 10.0 to 10.1.x bugfix packages, you can download it from here: http://www.openolat.org/downloads.html
OpenOLAT 10.1 is the best and most secure OpenOLAT release yet and we recommend installing it as soon as possible for all OLAT and OpenOLAT users.

OpenOLAT 10.1 refines the responsive layout introduced with the 10.0 release to improve usability on mobile, tablet and desktop devices even more. Many other improvements made it also to the release, for example a new video player to better support mobile devices, better access to course elements via WebDAV, a greatly improved create-choose workflow in the single page configuration with automatic creation of subfolders for each page, configurable table page size, downloading of multiple files just to name a view.
The 10.1 release does also add new important features such as single sign on authentication based OAuth2 (e.g. to connect with Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn or a local ADFS system), manual or automatic PDF certificates for courses, new styling options for the catalog, a very cool “auto-publishing” mechanism in the course editor, LDAP group sync, group leaving options and more.

If you rather prefer cloning from the repository, make sure you clone from the 10.1 maintenance repository and not from default: http://hg.openolat.org/openolat101
