OpenOLAT Installation on Ubuntu 14.04

I have a plain vanilla Ubuntu 14.04.2 server (VM). On this I try to setup OpenOLAT 10.13.

First attempt: Tomcat installed with apt-get, then via tomcat-manager add the OpenOLAT.war. Doesn't work, complains about missing mysql JDBC.

Second attempt: try to install it according to the document: http://www.openolat.org/fileadmin/adminwiki/_START_.html. This is about the version 9.x doesn't work either , here the webapp don't show up.

I'd appreciate very much to get some support in setting it up.

Hm, strange, the Wiki does not seem to be up-to-date. I habe to check the export mechanism which transfers the wiki from the Community OpenOLAT to the website. 

In the meanwhile, please use the original wiki here:

I figured out why the admin manual at http://www.openolat.org/fileadmin/adminwiki/_START_.html was not up to date and fixed it. It’s now the same as in the community OpenOLAT.
