OpenOLAT 11.3 released

Dear OpenOLAT community

The OpenOLAT 11.3 release is an iterative evolution of the 10.0 and 11.0 release series. You can download it from here: http://www.openolat.org/downloads.html

The most important highlights are:

• Various improvements in UI und greatly enhanced usability in QTI2 e-assessment infrastructure
• Simplified test configuration using scenario based predefined profiles
• Time limit on QTI2 tests
• Digitally signed test receipt after submitting a test that can be used during appeal 
• New course element "high-score" for game based learning scenarios
• Set visibility of assessment results manually, not automatically right after a test
• Password reset via SMS authentication as an optional mechanism to the email workflow
• Move forum entries from one forum to another, in the same or even between courses
• New course tool "search" to have a course-scoped search input field
• Improved archive tool to export the test details together with the Excel raw data in one step

In case you have missed the 11.0 - 11.2 releases, you might also want to check our the release notes for those releases. The focus of the 11 releases are a the brand new QTI 2 based e-assessment system and the new e-portfolio. There are many other new features such as course life-cycle management, new course elements and tools. Check it out here: 



OpenOLAT 11.3 is the best and most secure OpenOLAT release yet and we recommend installing it as soon as possible for all OLAT and OpenOLAT users.

If you rather prefer cloning from the repository, make sure you clone from the 11.3 maintenance repository and not from default: http://hg.openolat.org/openolat113
