Auto startup of 'OpenOlat 10.4' failure in RedhatLinux

Hi Everyone,

We have  'OpenOlat of 10.4 version' which was deployed in Redhat Linux.

When we start it manually(by running ./startup.sh ) it is working fine but when we registered Tomcat 8 as service,

then it was not running even tomcat starts automatically.It is showing below error:

‘No UTF-8 capable filesystem found! Could not read / write UTF-8 characters from / to filesystem!

     You probably misconfigured your system, try setting your LANG variable to a correct value. ^%^ cause:n/a’

Hi 

It is a with your shell environment. When you type ./startup.sh as a user, you inherit the shell environment from your current user. When the init process executes startup.sh, it uses the default environment. For whatever reason your default environment is not configured properly, you have to set it manually in your default environment.

If you read the error message carefully it tells you what to do: explicitly set the LANG variable to something with UTF-8 .
