Vertex Notes Plugin

Does the VertexNotes Plugin add a new field to the selected shapefile? Or does it create a new shapefile

Hi,

It seems that this plugin is adding two attributes "ShowLabel" and
"SymbolName" directly into the layer that is edited. If you save layer
with "Save Selected Dataset" the edits are stored permanently to the
original dataset, if you use "Save Dataset as..." you can create a copy.
