I'm wondering if its possible to send events like accelerometer  positioning to a Windows Android Emulator like Genymotion using the Sensor Simulator java app

Thing is that I'm testing the Sensor Simulator Settings in the testing tab, and I'm receiving the events from the java app, but some random app like Runtastic Pedometer does not register the accelerometer event, since the pedometer does not move forward

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
Manuel

to OpenIntents .
My understanding is that you need to use a different class to receive events from the simulator. This is probably not done in the "random" apps.

I mean, is possible to make the Sensor Simulator, as the default "virtual" hardware accelerometer for any Emulator? My idea is to test a pedometer like Runtastic Pedometer using random data
