Hi all KNX users,

In my logs, I see that OH is often reporting several KNX link losses per day. I'm not currently at home but basically I get:

KNX link has been lost!

and a bunch of warnings/errors and exceptions when this happens. Most of the time the reconnection triggered by OH works fine. However, I'm wondering if others also see this behavior. I have a Weinzierl KNX IP Interface 730. Since the interface is working since months without a reboot, I will try to restart it to see if things improve. Notice also that I got these link losses with OH 1.3 also.

Moreover, I noticed yesterday that I was not able to connect using ETS4 anymore because I had no more free tunnels. Looking at OH logs, I have seen that OH had several connections to my KNX IP interface at the same time!? Restarting OH solved the issue.

So anyone else with such weird behaviors??? Thank you.

Regards,
Cyril

Hi.

I don't see this here.
KNX binding is connecting for a long time now without loosing link (OH 1.5).

Hi Manfred,

Thank you for the reply. I have to look a bit more closer to it but I think I have seen in the Calimero logs that the server closed the connection. I will try to restart my KNX IP gateway to see if things get better.

Regards,
Cyril

I have triggered a device reset from with ETS4 on my KNX IP gateway but already after a few minutes I got again a link loss...

Is anyone with KNX IP Tunneling and Calimero backgrounds able to interpret these messages? Thank you.

I migrated from Raspberry Pi to Odroid-U3 and since then I haven't seen this error anymore.

Cyril
