There are a couple of interesting events coming up this January.

The next Open Data Manchester meeting is on Reproducibility in Science and Policy with Prof. Carole Goble CBE from Manchester University and Emma Broad - Head of Policy for the Open Data Institute. The event is on Tuesday 27th January at Manchester Science Park. More information here

Also if you are interested in Smart Cities, people and governance there is an event run by CyberSalon Manchester next Thursday 15th Jan, called How Smart is My City? With Rob Kitchin - Co-author of Code/Space, Simon Marvin from Durham University and Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino from DesignSwarm. More information here
