Google Summer of Code - 2014

Folks,

The Google Summer of Code (GSOC) program was kicked off in January 2014.  This program pairs students with open source communities like OpenBEL.  The goal is to provide mentorship for students while they contribute to open source projects.  You can read more about GSOC here.

OpenBEL is a collaborative project under the Linux Foundation and has submitted to take part in 2014.  The mentoring organizations for GSOC 2014 was recently published and the Linux Foundation was accepted.

We are very excited to participate!  A page has been created that describes proposed project ideas for OpenBEL technology.
