Badge Caching

I understand when a badge is accessed in a Mozilla Backpack that the badge class information is pulled from cache in case the issuer's URL no longer works.  Recently I've had to update the badge description and I'd like that to reflect on badges that have already been issued and not just newly issued badges.  Is there a way to force the backpack to retrieve the latest badge class from the server instead of cache for a particular issuer?
