Open Badges and Moodle

Hi Everyone,
I was very happy to find this group. I am using Moodle as my LMS for my 7th and 8th grade classes. I am awarding badges to the students for completing parts of their project and the complete course. I would like to integrate Open Badges so that the students can display their badges outside of our Moodle site. However, I don't know if that can be done and if so, how to do it. Could someone please tell me if that is possible and if so, provide a brief overview on how to do it? If you know of any tutorials or resources that would help me with the process, I would appreciate that as well.

Glad to hear you're interested in using Moodle's badges feature. I've played around with this for testing purposes within demo accounts, but I only have a little experience.

Does this help you understand how to get things working for your class? Badge sharing occurs when students connect badges to Mozilla Backpack accounts and create shared collections. They can then share those over email, social media, or on their personal or class websites.
