A background Boston Globe article is needed on how the Public Records Division of the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts organizes, tracks and determines appeals and enquiries. Who are the people of that office and what is their background for their expertise. Do they meet weekly, twice a week to determine appeals? What if determinations are faulty?

Why don't a few of us approach the Public Records Division and try to set up an appointment with the director, so we can sit down with him/her and find out?  Division contact info here: http://www.sec.state.ma.us/sec/pre/preidx.htm

We did this two years ago with the Elections Division, and that director, Michelle Tassinari, received us warmly.  If someone wants to try to set something up with Public Records, I'd be happy to attend.
