Did you know that the Dargslan can be your allies in the original game? It is very hard to achieve though, and the game does not end.

Yes, the available diplomatic texts suggested this. This is possible
in Open-IG, but diplomacy is still mostly random and reaction to
requests are simply don't consider many other decision values, hence,
there is a 50% chance for accepting alliance against somebody.

Does transferring money in Open-IG actually give the money to the other race or it just deducts it from your account? Do the values depend on your current daily tax income?

98% In the original? In Open-IG, they have a threshold of 100 for war,
whereas others have 40. Below this value, they'll consider you as a
target.

Yes, money transfer is real, but the aliens might reject in case you
offer X but you don't have that amount of money in the next few
seconds due the game not in pause mode...

Yes, in the original only 99% is alliance and 98% is already war.
